The plug-and-play projector is palm sized and looks to address one of the major shortcomings of most other pico projectors -- low brightness. The pico projectors I have used have not had enough lumens to work in a room that was even marginally bright.
The Showwx uses laser light source and promises to throw an image 12" to 150" in different room sizes. Microvision says that its laser tech delivers bright and vivid images regardless of the projection distance. I can’t wait to see if the laser engine is bright enough to bring the tiny projectors into the mainstream.
