Today Multi-touch means you can use multiple fingers at the same time for gesture input on a touchscreen or touchpanel. Apple has filed a patent application detailing how you can use your compete hands including your palms.
To use your full hands for inputs allows much more combinations and possibly a more natural input experience.
AppleInsider has extracted the highlights of this Apple patent application in this report.
