FLO TV, provider of FLO TV live mobile TV service and a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm unveiled today the FLO TV Personal Television. FLO TV Personal Television is a portable TV with a 3.5 inch capacitive touch-screen and measures 4.4 inches by 3 inches by .5 inches. The weight of the portable digital TV is just over 5 ounces.
Other features of the FLO TV include 5 hours of active FLO TV viewing or 300 hours standby, built-in stand, built-in stereo speakers and set reminders for TV shows.
You have to be a serious TV junky to consider the FLO TV Personal TV. The FLO TV sells for $249.99, which is fine, but you also have to pony up $8.99 per month for the mobile TV service. This "low" monthly is only available with a 3-year prepaid subscription.
