If you live in Spain and you've been coveting the Palm Pre, today is your lucky day. Actually, October 14th is going to be your lucky day, but today is the day we learned that. The Palm Blog announced today that the carrier Telefonica will be bringing the Pre to Spain on October 14th. Telefonica is also the exclusive Pre carrier in Ireland, Germany, and the U.K.
If you're new to Telefonica's HSDPA mobile network, you could end up getting the Pre for free depending on the service plan you go with. Palm's flagship smartphone will be available for purchase online here as soon as the 14th rolls around.
Apple also was the third-largest U.S. electronics retailer in 2011 based on total revenue, research firm NPD Groupsaid. The No. 1 retailer was Walmart, followed by Best Buy. Overall U.S. spending on consumer electronics fell 0.5% in 2011 to $144 billion. ...
