Earlier today, information leaked out about the upcoming Samsung Moment. Now Sprint has issued a press release of their own that confirms the new AMOLED-packing Moment is heading for their network. The Moment marks Samsung's first released U.S. Android handset.
The Sprint press release confirms the presence of a 3.2" AMOLED screen, an 800 MHz processor, and a 3.2 MP camera. New Sprint customers who purchase a Moment will be eligible for the Any Mobile, Anytime feature. This gives unlimited calling to any wireless customer in the U.S. on any carrier as long as you buy into one of the Sprint Everything plans that offers unlimited data.
When it hits on November 1st, the Moment will cost $179.99 after $50 of instant savings and a $100 mail in rebate. You'll have to buy a 2 year plan as well, but that's par for the course. If the Moment looks like your kind of smartphone, you can pre-order now at Sprint's website.
