Are you on the look-out for a GPS device for your directionally-challenged loved ones this holiday season? If so, you'd better love them a lot, because gadgets like that don't come cheap. Take the Garmin nuvi 1690. (via Engadget) It's a PND with access to Google search, real-time traffic/flight status updates, and white pages listings.
The 1690 is a pretty badass GPS, which is why it costs just a hair under $500. On the bright side, it comes with two years of "free" service included. Anyone want to give the gift of good directional sense this holiday season?
