President Barack Obama just got the Nobel Peace Prize. This is quite a surprise as Barack Obama has only been at work a couple of months.
The Nobel Prize committee sums it up with: "For his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples".
The Nobel Prize committee likes Obama's vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons.
I actually think it is a great choice. The Peace Nobel Prize honors Obama's impact on the new positive perception of the U.S. visions and his "Yes We Can" movement. It also puts him on the spot to actually accomplish his visions. He managed to keep his BlackBerry as a President, so anything is possible.
