Windows 7 netbooks are set to swamp the market with the Windows 7 launch approaching. Asus has the 12-inch Asus Eee 1201N and Asus Eee 1201HA Windows 7 netbooks in the pipeline. Both new Asus netbooks appeared already on a leaked roadmap in August. Over the weekend the specifications leaked in Italy on eeepc.it, but have been removed. Apparently the leaked specs are not final and Asus asked the site to remove it.
Of course the leaked Asus Eee 1201N And 1201HA have already spread throughout the netbook blog world. Liliputing has the details posted.
The more interesting Asus Eee PC 1201N runs a NVIDIA ION (GeForce 9400M) chipset and features an 1.6Ghz Intel Atom N330 Dual Core, 3GB RAM, 320GB HDD, Wifi, Bluetooth and HDMI Out.
The Eee PC 1201HA has less performance and less storage and is just using an Intel GPU.
The announcements of new Windows 7 netbooks have not really begun yet. Hold on to your hat as many more Windows 7 computers will be announced over the next couple of weeks leading up the Windows 7 launch on October 22nd.
