Samsung shows off a new Samsung 55-inch Full HD 3D 240Hz LCD TV in Korea.
Samsung claims that their new 240Hz 3D TV enabling a more natural stereoscopic effect with the shutter glasses viewers need to wear. This new Samsung 3D TV is still a prototype.
In the same announcement Samsung talks about a 52-inch 3D screen that as far as I interpret the Google translation is an autostereo display that would not require any glasses to experience the 3D effect.
Small size autostereo 3D displays are available since years. A 52-inch sized model would be ready to enter the living room and get rid of requirement to wear 3D glasses.
