Plastic Logic announced today the Que reader to be unveiled at the CES 2010. Plastic Logic says that the Que is the first proReader designed for business professionals.
Why is Plastic Logic announcing the Que already today and is not waiting to at least December as the CES 2010 is still over two month away? I assume it as to do with the Barnes&Noble ebook announcement scheduled for tomorrow.
The wireless-enabled, QUE is the size of an 8.5 x 11 inch pad of paper, less than a 1/3 inch thick. QUE users will be able to connect to content and download wirelessly via Wi-Fi and AT&T’s 3G network.
In addition let you read yoru business and professional newspapers, books and periodicals, the QUE supports the document formats business users need (including PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents) and features powerful tools for interacting with and managing the content.
The Que offers Plastic Logic's shatterproof plastic display along with E Ink Vizplex technology and its battery can last days. The Que is not offering a color display that is rumored for 2010.
Full product specifications, availability and pricing of QUE will be announced on January 7 at CES 2010.
