It won't be long now. Gizmodo's posted some screenshots of BlackBerry Storm 2 dummy display units over in Best Buy and Verizon stores. When the display units filter in, it's usually only a matter of days or (at most) weeks before we see a full-scale launch.
The Storm 2 is currently rumored to launch on-or-around October 25. These sightings lend credence to that rumor. I'd be very surprised if the Storm 2 launches much later than the 25th, and it's pretty much certain to hit before the end of the month.
Now, the question remains; will the Storm 2 be enough to wash away the sins of the godawful Storm, one of the worst touchscreen smartphones released by a major manufacturer? While the Storm 2's initial reviews were good, the phone still has some issues. It's anyone's guess as to whether or not those will have been dealt with by launch day.
