HTC Desire: The 'Sense' UI Is Back

The Android OS is a lot like herpes; it spreads exponentially. A year ago we had one Android smartphone, and now we've got dozens that have been announced, released, rumored, or leaked. And today, we get to add one more smartphone to that pile; the HTC Desire. Boy Genius has a pic of this beauty in the 'flesh'. While we can tell next to nothing about its hardware from these shots, it does look like a very nice piece of gear.BGR's sources tell them this handset is about the same size as the HTC Hero, and that it will also sport the Hero's Sense UI. The fact that we're finally getting a Sense-packin' handset on a non-Sprint carrier is a great thing. The Desire is branded for Verizon, and could be launching with that carrier as part of some sort of crazy multi-device Android event. That's what I'm hoping for, at least. Fingers crossed!
