Apple Slate Has Reappeared As A Name For The Apple Tablet

The Apple Tablet rumor is still strong, but because the launch is expected for 2010 it got a bit quite. Over the weekend the potential name of the Apple Tablet appeared. According to 9to5Mac Bill Keller, Executive Editor of The NY Times, mentioned Apple Slate as an example of devices in a speech. It could be a slip, but it also could mean nothing.
See, back in 2007, the Apple Tablet rumor already existed and some referred to it as Apple Slate. I also found on Google that some people just like to refer to a Tablet computer as a Slate.
What this incident is more confirming of is that the Apple Tablet will also be an eBook reader, as rumored before.
