b/g connection supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption.
This Wi-Fi music player also has a 10/100 Ethernet port, a USB host port that
will facilitate USB drive attachment and an SD card slot that will enable you to
hear music and transfer photos from an SD card. The stereo RCA output, headphone
jack, digital coax and digital optical outputs give you even more entertainment options. The Logitech Squeezebox Touch is also equipped with a proximity
sensor and ambient light sensor.
The stereo sound provided by the Logitech Squeezebox Touch is of supreme clarity
and depth due to a combined action of the 24/96 kHz DAC, state-of-the-art
technology used for audio rendering and digital outputs. You will also have the
chance to set up a multi-room system by incorporating Squeezebox players in your
desired rooms. With a Squeezebox Controller, you can control each Squeezebox
player so that you can use the same playlist or a different playlist in each
player. All the incorporated players will work in tandem.
The major advantages of the Logitech Squeezebox Touch are that it allows you to
hear music from the Internet and networked PCs using Wi-Fi connectivity, enables
you to enjoy Rhapsody and Pandora premium services and supports most audio file
formats. Its large touchscreen makes it easy to reach your desired destination
on the player and provides for a superb viewing experience. However, it is a bit
more costly than its competitors and you will not be able to play copy-protected
PlaysForSure and iTunes files with it.
