It was believed that the still unofficial HTC Passion would arrive by the end of 2009. Now Digitimes reports that their industry sources say HTC has pushed the Passion back to an early 2010 release.
The HTC Passion will be HTC's first Android 2.0 smartphone and has the internet buzzing with rumors.
The HTC Passion will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz CPU and get an eye catching 3.5-inch multi-touch OLED display.
The reasons for the delay of the Passion are supposed to be software related.
As it looks the Motorola Droid will remain the only Android 2.0 smartphone on the market in 2009.
In the same report Digitimes also mentions a rumor about a new Android smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard that HTC will unveil at the MWC 2010. The new HTC Android phone would be called HTC Espresso.
