Before the Windows 7 launch, the Asus 1005HA with Windows XP, was already leading the netbook sales charts on Amazon. After the launch, a couple of new Windows 7 netbooks came close or even lead the charts for a while. Now things seem to have settled in favor of the Asus 1005HA.
The first 4 spots on the netbook sales charts are taken by Asus Eee 1005HA models: Two XP and two Windows 7 Eee PCs. As already observed last weekend there is still the weird fact that the XP netbook still outsells the newer Windows 7 version.
The #1 netbook on Amazon is the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BK with XP selling for $358.99 followed by the ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005HA-PU17-BU with Windows 7 Starter selling for $382.99.
In 3rd place is the blue 1005HA XP netbook and in fourth is the black 1005HA Win7 netbook.
The first non-Asus netbook is the Toshiba Mini in 5th place.
