The drives use the Jmicron JMF602B controller and MLC flash memory for transfer speeds promised to be two to five times faster than the standard SSD that shipped in many netbooks from ASUS. The drives are aimed at users of the Asus S101, 900, 900A, 901, and 1000 EeePC.
The SaberTooth S4 is available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities. The card is a mini PCIe form factor using the SATA-II interface. Pricing for the new drives range from $72.95 to $219.95.
