Yeti offers four patterns including omni, cardioid, stereo, and bidirectional for versatility. Blue Microphones claims the mic has zero latency and offers amplified headphone monitoring with no latency, mic mute, and hardware gain adjustment.
The mic connects to a computer via USB and builds on the technology that was introduced with the Snowball mic. The Yeti will be available in December online and in other retail outlets for $149.99.
