Sorry Nokia, Samsung is going to be too busy with their new baby bada to deal with Symbian anymore. Samsung Hub reports that Samsung senior VP, Don Joo Lee, has confirmed that Samsung will no longer develop handsets for the Symbian platform. To be fair, Sammy has never exactly given Symbian handsets a huge priority.
The manufacturer intends to continue to produce Android handsets and WinMo handsets. With any luck, this possibly leaked new Samsung smartphone will end up being for Android. Based off of the Samsung Crystal LCD TV design, this possible-smartphone, possible forgery looks gorgeous and is otherwise a total mystery. All we can confirm now is that, if and when this mobile launches, it won't pack Symbian.
