If you have been out on Black Friday night or early mornings in the past then you will find a very different situation at your local Walmart store on Black Friday 2009.
We mentioned it before, but now Walmart has issued an official statement announcing that most U.S. Walmart stores will be open 24 hours for the post-Thanksgiving Day events.
This means you do not have to wait outside in front of closed doors in the cold. You can wait inside for the Walmart Black Friday doorbuster deals to become available.
Walmart still begins offering these at 5am on Black Friday. According to Reuters you are supposed to be able to line up at the different displays of the doorbuster deals to have a chance on getting your hands on one.
At 5am Walmart employees are supposed to hand out the doorbuster deals to the customers in the lines.
If you want more than one doorbuster deal you actually have a problem. It would be best to arrive with your whole family and to have each family member line up at a different deal display.
The last question is how early you should get to a Walmart store to have a chance at the doorbuster deals.
This very much depends on where you live and how popular the Walmart store will be. Theoretically you could start "living" at a Walmart store starting 6am Thanksgiving Day. And just 23 hours later you are first to get your hands on a Walmart Black Friday Doorbuster deal.
