LG Electronics Wins 17 Awards, CES 2010

Today at the 2010 CES Innovations Awards LG Electronics swept 17 different honors. They received "Best of" recognition in Video Display, and also won awards in Eco-Design, Sustainable Technology, Online Audio/Video Content, High Performance Audio, and Wireless Handsets. The 2010 CES Awards mark LGs 100th award (and then some) in the last 7 years. I'd imagine some engineers are about to get hefty bonuses.I've got a feeling the 2010 CES Awards are going to be big for LG. The competition, Sony, is about to bring a new OLED TV to the show this year, and it's probably been designed to beat LG's 15" OLED TV, currently the largest available. It will be very surprising of LG doesn't also have something big to show off this year.
