Sony XBR12 OLED TV Will Be 21'', Debute At CES 2010

Don't lie; if you had thousands of dollars of expendable income to burn through, you'd buy one. OLED TVs are too hot for any geek to not want, and too expensive for most of us to even consider. While we don't have too long to wait before OLED becomes cheaper than LCD, it's still a few years off. This year at CES 2010 we'll get a chance to see a major step forward in this technology. Currently, LG's 15" TV is the largest commercially available OLED TV. However, Electronista has heard word that Sony is about to bring out an OLED TV that beats LGs by 10". The XBR11 will be a 21" HD OLEDTV with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a greater than 720p resolution. How much will this titan cost? Unknown, but expected to be in the low thousands. You can either have this, or the down payment on a decent car. Tough choice.
