Hitachi has unveiled new 2TB Simple Drive external hard drives. The new line includes the SimpleDrive from Hitachi along with SimpleTech Pro Drive, Simple Tech Duo Pro, and a new 2TB internal hard drive kit for desktop PCs.

The drives with single hard drives use the new Hitachi Deskstar 7K2000 2TB 7,200 RPM hard drive. The SimpleTech Pro Drive is a dual drive 2TB storage solution with RAID 0/1 capability. The drives are compatible with Mac and PC computers and the SimpleDrive in 2TB is $249.99.

The SimpleTech Pro Drive is an external drive selling for $299.99 for 2TB and offering four interface options. The Duo Pro Drive has two discs inside and the 2TB is $299.99 and a 4TB version sells for $499.99. The Internal Hard Drive Kit is $249.99 for 2TB.
