The new LED version of the iconic Tolomeo task light from Artemide will now be distributed to the United States contract market through Humanscale.
This story caught my eye because I have been sitting on a Humanscale Freedom Chair for a couple of years and it makes 12-hour days in front of the internet an easy task.
Back to the Artemide LED Tolomeo lamp. What should I say, I also have a Tolomeo Mini Table Task Lamp on my desk. Their design is cool and timeless.

The Artemide LED Tolomeo consumes just 10 watts of power while producing as much light as 75 watts of incandescent lighting.
The LED Tolomeo task light will be available to ship from Humanscale starting Jan. 1, 2010 and will be covered by a 2-year warranty.
