New Early Walmart Black Friday Hero Game Bundle Deals Analyzed

As reported, Walmart has unveiled their new early Black Friday deals which will be available in-stores starting this Saturday, November 21st. Walmart says that these deals carry prices similar to Day-After-Thanksgiving sales. As we have been doing in previous weeks we are taking a closer look and analyzing the new early Walmart Black Friday deals for you to see if they are hot deals or not.

The new round of deals features toys, a 26-inch Vizio HDTV and music video game bundles from the Hero franchise. This report focuses on the Hero Game Package deals. Walmart customers who purchase these gaming packages will receive a $40 Walmart Gift Card while supplies last. This deal is not available in all States.

Below you will find the list of Band Hero, DJ Hero and Guitar Hero 5 packages offered with their prices. The closest competitor to Walmart is Amazon. In general the new Walmart early Black Friday deals are great and you really save $40 through the free gift card in most cases.
But two weeks ago Walmart also offered the Xbox 360 Arcade with a $100 gift card, which Amazon matched on the launch day of that deal.
I am betting that Amazon will once again match this Walmart Hero Gift card on Saturday.

    The PS2 Band Hero bundle is selling for only $168.99 on Amazon. If you subtract the gift card you still save about $30.

  • PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii - $119.00 plus $40 Walmart Gift Card
    This is a great deal right now. Amazon sells the DJ Hero Bundle at the same price, but no gift card.
     
  • PS2 - $99.00 plus $40 Walmart Gift Card
    This is a great deal right now. Amazon sells this only for a 1c less.
     
• Guitar Hero 5 - Includes guitar controller and game (ESRB: T)
  • PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii - $99.00 plus $40 Walmart Gift Card
    The Guitar Hero 5 qualifies for the Spend $80 and get $20 off on Amazon right now (claim code: BUY80G20, expires Nov. 21st). Still, with the Walmart deal you save $20 more.
     
  • PS2 - $89.00 plus $40 Walmart Gift Card
    This is a great deal right now. Amazon sells it for the same price.
