Samsung announced the hybrid Samsung NX10 for CES 2010 featuring a large APS-C Size Sensor, AMOLED Screen and fast Auto Focus. Hybrid means that the Samsung NX series combines the quality of DSLR cameras with the compactness of point-and-shoot cameras.
On Amazon (via oled-info) the Samsung NX10 has now started to ship for $699.99.
The Samsung NX10 incorporates a fast and decisive auto focus (AF), 14.6MP APS-C size CMOS sensor and a 3.0-inch AMOLED screen, allowing you to view your images, even in bright sunlight. You can also record HD movies with the NX10 in 720p HD (MP4. H.264) format.
Other features of the Samsung NX10 include 100-3200 ISO range, pop-up flash, DRIMe II Pro engine and advanced AF algorithm, HDMI, and Lens Shift.
Measurements of the NX10 are 4.8” x 3.4” x 1.6” (excluding the projecting parts of the camera) and the weight is .78 lbs (without battery and card).
