The new Apple iPod touch 3rd generation that Apple unveiled back in September has been a hot seller ever since. The iPod touch 8GB is the 2nd best selling electronic item on Amazon and also on Walmart.
Both retailers have the iPod touch 8GB on sale for $188.95. Apple charges $199 for it. Since this is such a high profile item several retailers have Black Friday iPod touch deals.
Currently Walmart beats them all. In the leaked Walmart Black Friday Ad the iPod touch 8GB will sell for $195 bundled with a $50 iTunes Gift Card.
Some other stores like ToysRUs also offer a $50 gift card with the iPod touch but sell it a bit more expensive.
What I actually expect to happen is that Amazon will beat them all by offering a $50 gift or iTunes card with the iPod touch 8GB on Black Friday at the current $188.95 price.
Of course nothing is holding Walmart back from offering the same deal online on Cyber Monday.
If you are in the market for an iPod touch it definitely makes sense to wait for Black Friday. Keep an eye on Amazon or if you'd rather be out in the mall, head to Walmart.
