Amazon is already making good on the promise to meet or beat other Black Friday deals. Best Buy offers as early Black Friday deal right now the Gateway LT2022u Netbook for $229.99.
Amazon offers now the same Gateway LT2022u 10.1-Inch Black Netbook for $229 and free shipping.
The Gateway LT2022u netbook features an Intel Atom N270 CPU at 1.6Ghz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 10.1 inch LED-backlit display, Windows XP Home and 3-cell battery.
This is a standard netbook configuration. You compromise on battery life and storage with this deal, but $229 is a great deal.
The price has catapulted the Gateway LT2022u to the 3rd spot in the Netbook Bestseller list on Amazon.com.
The list is usually dominated by the Asus 1005HA netbooks, but right now two Aspire One 250 are in the lead as they are priced at only $289.99. The specs of the Aspire One is though similar to the Gateway LT2022u. The Acer Aspire One is more popular than the Gateway, but is that worth the $60 premium?
