Gift Tip 20: Samsung TL225 Dual Screen Camera

Buy Samsung TL225 from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Samsung has launched a new camera with not one but two LCD screens. The Samsung TL225 is the first innovative camera in the world with two LCD screens: one on the back and one on the front. The Samsung TL225 has so many features and innovations never before seen that it redefines consumer photography. Besides the Nikon S1000pj, the TL225 is the most unique pocket camera on the market this holiday season.

On the back of the Samsung TL225 is a 3.5-inch touchscreen with haptic feedback, sporting 1,152,000 pixels, making it the world’s highest quality 3.5-inch LCD. Normally the standard camera comes with around 230,000 pixels. The Samsung TL225 is reaching ahead of the competition. On the other side is a 1.5-inch LCD for viewing live images and for easy self-portraits. Additionally, the 12.2 mega pixel TL225 also uses a perfect combination of a 27mm wide angle Schneider KREUZNACH lens with 4.6x optical zoom. This gives you a wider shooting range from a shorter distance, producing clear, clean images.

Smart gesture user interface and one touch shooting and auto focus are the most unique features of the Samsung TL225. The smart gesture UI with built-in orientation sensor means a simple tap or hand gesture allows users to access key features quickly. A simple tap can also turn the front LCD on instantly, ready to take the perfect self-portrait photo. The Samsung ST500’s One Touch Auto Focus feature allows you to focus on a different part of the shot by simply touching the desired area. It can store up to 20 recognized faces in the camera’s internal memory and allows users to search for their favorite faces in playback.

Pros for this camera are the two LCD screens, front and back, and 720p HD video. This Samsung TL225 camera is loaded with essential gimmicks — faces detection and recognition, smile and anti-blink shutter automation and so on. It also permits a reasonable degree of user control. But this camera has poor battery life and images are overly softened in high ISO pictures. Moving subjects are a problem because of shutter lag. Even anticipating movement doesn't help because you are always a beat behind the action.

Great Gift For
This Samsung TL225 camera is a great gift for people who have fun with new innovative features.

Price and Where to Buy
The Samsung TL225 is currently selling for $296.85 on Amazon.com. The Samsung TL225 is known in Europe as ST550.
