It is Black Friday in about half of the country. Our Robert is our Black Friday reporter on the ground this night and he spent some time in Walmart somewhere in Texas.
Around midnight the situation was still very relaxed. Walmart's decision to keep the store open all night seems to work well. At midnight the sales stations of Black Friday deals got unwrapped and the people waiting at these stations could grab the first items.
Walmart has the Doorbuster deals available starting at 5am not on display yet. See more photos from the Walmart Black Friday early stages.
Walmart's Black Friday 2009 procedures can vary for different stores, but it looks like the best Black Friday deals will only be pushed onto the sales floor briefly before 5am.
Better have your Black Friday deal floor plans for your local Walmart with you.
It is now getting more crowded in the Walmart and Robert is now moving on the Best Buy for more live coverage of the Black Friday morning mania.
