If you're rocking an HTC Hero (or another fine, HTC Sense-packing device like the Droid Eris) you'll be happy to know that Android 2.0 could be headed your way in very short order. French blog Be Geek (via BGR) has spotted a Hero running Android 2.1. This handset also packed a fully updated Sense UI. No "major" changes appear to have been made to the UI or Android 2.0. HTC has still not given us a date to expect the 2.0 update, and it's possible that Hero users will just have to move straight to 2.1. That could happen at any time. These screenshots show that the OS is ready and working, at least to some degree. How much longer could HTC possibly take?
