Kindle Breaks Sales Record for Single Month in November

Amazon has announced that its Kindle eReader has broken its sales record for a single month during the month of November. The most interesting part is that the Kindle broke its sales record before sales from Cyber Monday today are figured in.

The Kindle is the number one product that Amazon is selling across all product categories in the store. Sales of the device will only improve, as it is the only eReader that will be in stock for the holiday season according to many analysts.

“Kindle is a great gift for anyone who loves to read and it’s flying off the shelves faster than any other product Amazon sells,” said Ian Freed, Vice President, Amazon Kindle. “We’re seeing lots of people buying from one to a handful of Kindles as gifts for friends or family, as well as many businesses and other organizations buying Kindles in large quantities for their employees or customers.”
