QVC Black Friday Three-Day Sale A Huge Success

This year, for the first time ever, multimedia shopping network QVC held a Black Friday shopping event. Now they've sent out a press release announcing that the sale was an enormous success. Over the three day sale, QVC saw some 815,000 customers take advantage of their deals. This year was QVC's largest Black Friday ever, with over 60,000 new customers recorded.QVC's big sellers for the weekend were their Windows 7 Notebook deal, the Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit Plus, and the Olympus 12 MP 5x Optical Zoom Camera. The QVC's website, www.QVC.com, made up more than 30% of their total weekend sales. Considering how successful these Black Friday 2009 sales were, it's all but guaranteed we'll see another QVC sale the same time next year.
