Logitech Building UMD Drive For PSP Go?

An odd rumor comes to us today, courtesy of a source talking to CVG (via SlashGear). The source claims that Logitech is in the process of creating a UMD drive add-on designed to attach to the PSP Go. Considering the whole point of the PSP Go was ditching the physical drive and going all-digital, I'm not sure how much sense this rumor makes. When questioned, Logitech UK claimed they have never heard of the UMD drive. They did admit that it was possible the US office was working on it, though. Neither Logitech US or Sony have commented on the existence of this device. I doubt it exists, myself, but we'll see if time brings us any more information on this peripheral UMD drive.
