The Lenovo C100, brought to you by Lenovo, is a recently unveiled all-in-one
PC featuring a slim-line design and an 18.5 inch screen having a 16:9 aspect
ratio and 1600x900 resolution. The C100 possesses an efficient form factor as it
combines the conventional tower desktop, speakers, microphone and screen with a
camera in such a manner that you will able to easily incorporate it virtually
anywhere you want. Its dimensions of 18.5 x 14.5 x 4 inches provide for a
compact PC.
Despite the highly desirable features offered by the Lenovo C100's screen, its
depth is only 2 inches. The C100 comes with an Intel Atom 230 CPU. It also provides
four USB ports and a built-in DVD burner/reader enabling you to explore
multimedia to the fullest. The Lenovo Recovery System featuring OneKey Antivirus
and OneKey Recovery gives you excellent security as it detects corrupted data
before booting into Windows and reverts this data to its previous uncorrupted
form.
The other specifications of the Lenovo C100 NetTop include 1GB of RAM, a
1.3-megapixel camera, Windows XP Home preloaded and 160GB hard drive. The total
memory and hard drive capacity can be customized to up to 2GB and 320GB
respectively. The graphics are in safe hands as the integrated GMA 950 from Intel
is handling them. The C100 is expected to revive the desktop PC market by
providing a quality alternative for the notebook segment. The C100 has already
hit the market and is available now.
As the Lenovo C100 can be set up with ease and can be operated effortlessly, it
can provide users with an enhanced digital home experience. Its sleek and
stylish look gives it even more appeal. Its starting price is only $399, which is highly affordable. However, the C100 does not give you the chance
to enjoy the advanced features provided by Windows 7. Also, the absence of
higher performing processors like the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor may not sit well with some consumers.
Great Gift For
This is the ideal space saving computer for basic computer work like surfing the
web or emailing.
Price and Where to Buy
The Lenovo C100 is selling for $399.99 on
Amazon.com.
