There is no new Elmo doll this year, only his hands are on the loose. The Elmo
Tickle Hands is a pair of red and furry gloves that provide interactive fun for kids. The curtain-raiser on this toy, brought to you by Fisher Price,
happened at the Toy Fair 2009 in February. These gloves easily fit kid’s hands
and you can activate them by pressing Elmo's nose. Once the hands are activated,
your child can feel the vibration of the hands and get treated to fun phrases from Elmo in his own voice when he or she touches a surface with the intention
of tickling it.
On tickling surfaces, your child will also have the pleasure of hearing Elmo's signature giggle. As your child uses the Elmo Tickle Hands to tickle
surfaces repeatedly, Elmo’s laugh becomes harder and harder. More excitement awaits your kid when Elmo's nose is pressed again. On pressing his nose again,
your child will get an opportunity to dance to his brand new song - "The Tickle
Hand Groove!" the instructions given by Elmo will guide your child while
dancing.
Elmo uses the motion sensors fitted inside the Elmo Tickle Hands, which identify
your child’s dance moves, to take your child through his brand new dance. The
Tickle Hands come with a DVD that gives detailed instructions regarding each
step in the new dance. This new dance allows your child to tickle and giggle along with Elmo. The Tickle Hands will hit stores in August.
