Mark The Spot: Help Fix AT&T

Is your wonderful, perfect iPhone 3GS shackled to a carrier that drops calls and has spotty data coverage? iPhone users have been complaining about AT&T for years. Now it's time to do something about it. BGR reports that AT&T has launched the "Mark the Spot" application for the iPhone as a way to help fix some of their most complained about issues. The app uses the iPhone's GPS to pinpoint where you are, while you chime in with information about just what is going wrong with your mobile. You'll be able to choose from "Dropped Call", "Failed Call", "No Coverage", "Data Failure", and "Poor Voice Quality." Users can also list the frequency as Once, Seldom, Often, or Always. While AT&T is probably the carrier that needs this sort of application most of all, this is an app that every smartphone on every carrier needs. Hopefully T-Mo and Verizon and Sprint will man up, realize this is a great idea, and get to work on some Android and WinMo apps. To download the new app, go here.
