Fusion Garage Selling JooJoo (CrunchPad): $499, This Friday

We spoke too soon; the CrunchPad is not dead. While the device's ultimate fate is still to be decided in courtrooms by lawyers, Fusion Garage has decided to go ahead and roll the product out. They've changed the name from CrunchPad to JooJoo, but otherwise the device is exactly the same as the "budget" tablet we've lusted after for months. Slashgear reports that the JooJoo will be available, for online retail only, starting this Friday. The JooJoo has a 12.1" capacitive touchscreen (holy crap!), which FG claims is the first of its kind ever. The OS will be central to this device, with no real apps or add-ons announced yet. This is going to be a web-driven tablet.The JooJoo isn't going to come cheap; $499 is the current list price. That sounds about right for a 12.1" tablet PC. The first deliveries start in 8-10 weeks. Anyone interested?
