Dell Unveils Sexy and Cheap Vostro V13 Ultraportable

When Dell first debuted that thin and light Adamo notebook I wanted one pretty bad, until I saw how much money Dell wanted for the thing. I wished at the time that Dell would come out with a notebook that shared the same svelte profile at a bargain price. The computer giant has granted my wish with the new Vostro V13.

The machine looks a lot like the Adamo with the same 0.65-inch profile and the machine weighs 3.5 pounds. The V13 uses a ULV Intel processor and has a brushed aluminum chassis. Dell is tight lipped on many of the specs but the machine is said to have WiFi, Bluetooth, and a built-in webcam.

At $450, the machine is a bargain and should be very popular with those wanting a thin machine with style. There will be no SSD at the low price and I bet we are looking at around 320GB of storage. The OS isn’t mentioned, but Windows 7 is a shoe in. Shop for Dell computers on Dell.com.
