Here's a spot of good news for all of you HD lovers out there, Wireless Home Digital Interface (WHDI) will be ready by early next year. According to Leslie Chard, president of WHDI (via Ubergizmo), this new technology will be ready by CES 2010. Users will finally be able to send 1080p content wirelessly. High-def streaming will be limited to around 100 meters, but that's more than enough to blanket a house. Multi-room high def streaming is almost here. The home media centers of geeks everywhere are about to get much, much more awesome.
