Plustek has just issued a press release announcing that their new MobileOffice D428 Scanner will launch at the CES 2010 show in January. The D428 is a 4" x 12" color duplex scanner. It has a resolution of 600 dpi and a scanning speed of 2.2 seconds/page. It can scan any media up to the thickness of a credit card.The D428 can also scan documents into emails or saved files. It is capable of saving in .tif, .jpg, .bmp, and .png, as well as Word and Excel formats. It can handle one-touch scanning and will MSRP for $349.
