The devices are also available in read-only versions and a version that can read and write to the memory cards. The flash card readers are also firmware upgradable so they will support future Flash standards. The devices offer up to 150Mb/sec transfer speed when connected to an eSATA port.
The pocket version can read 15 different memory card formats. The SATA/USB DigiDrive is designed to be mounted inside a 3.5-inch drive bay in a desktop computer. Both versions sell for the same $59.99 price.
