If you like the idea of Age of Conan but feel the same way about paying to play a game each month Funcom has a deal for us. The company is offering to let players play the game for free. The coolest part is that the free trial lasts forever.
You can hop over, download the client, and play the entire Island of Tortage without ever having to get a full paid account. The free trial starts on January 1st. Obviously, Funcom is hoping you decide to upgrade to paid to enjoy the rest of the game after the first island.
