Seeing a new device for the first time can prompt a variety of reactions. In the past I've been awed, shocked, angered and elated. Today, for the Magic Voice A9, I'm adding a new emotional reaction to my repertoire; utter confusion. I'm just not entirely certain what purpose the folks who made the A9 had in mind for it. The Magic Voice is easily one of the more baffling smartphones out there. PMP Today states that it has two receivers and dual mics, a 3" touchscreen, dual SIM cards, MP3/4 playback, FM Radio, and Analog TV. This whole package will cost you $129.99 total, which is an obscenely cheap price for a smartphone. It's easy enough to see why this thing has two SIM slots. That just serves to make it an excellent international phone. No, what's puzzling about the A9 are its dual receivers and mics. What is the purpose here? Ultra-uber high sound quality? Someone buy this phone and let us know just how it performs. If the A9 does have incredible voice clarity, it could be well worth picking up.
