Palm was made a big splash at the CES 2009 with the unveiling of the Palm Pre and the webOS. According to PalmInfoCenter, Palm has sent out invitations for a media event for CES 2010.
Palm badly needs a hot new device. The Palm Pre excitement has worn off over the year and the Pixi is just a low-end device.
What Palm needs now is a webOS smartphone that can compete with the Droid and the still unofficial Google Nexus One phone. Apple is also rumored to have a new iPhone 2010 aka iPhone 4G in the works.
CES 2010 will start on January 7, 2010 and lasts until the 10th. Of course CES news is already pouring in. Read about it in our CES 2010 section.
