What's that? You need another reason to be excited about CES 2010? Alright, how about this; Nvidia's promised to show off Tegra 2 at CES 2010 (Xbitlabs, via netbooked). They'll show off the new chip, along with a bevy of products that are powered by it and will be launching later next year. These devices include tablets, smartbooks, netbooks, and MIDs that will launch in the first half of 2010, and smartphones that will launch in the second half. No exact information exists for the Tegra 2, but Nvidia says it will be at least 2x as strong as the current Tegra. It'll have a dual core processor and more advanced graphics technology. CES 2010 will also see the unveiling of a smartbook that packs the first, original Tegra chip. While the Mobinnova Beam sounds great, I think I'll be holding off until the Tegra 2 smartbooks launch.
CES 2010 will start January 7, 2010 and lasts until the 10th. Of course CES news is already pouring in. Read about it in our CES 2010 section.
