It's been a while since we heard anything from Cherrypal, the company that gave us the Bing earlier this year. Cherrypal is back with its next notebook at a price of $99 called the Cherrypal Africa. The Africa netbook has a 7-inch screen and a 400MHz processor.

The 400MHz processor is paired with 256MB of RAM and 2GB of flash storage and can run either Linux or Windows CE. Cherrypal has also announced a new updated Bing netbook with a 13.3-inch screen and Windows XP for $389.

In addition to a larger screen, the Bing gets an Atom N280 processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of storage and a 1.3MP webcam. Both machines can be purchased via the Cherrypal Open Store.
