Acer has announced that it is issuing some special edition notebooks and an LCD to celebrate the Olympics. The special edition machines include an Aspire 1810T, 4810T, 1410, and the G245H LCD. All of the special edition gear has the Acer logo along with the Olympic rings.

Acer is also talking about its role in the upcoming Olympic games. It will be providing 6,500 pieces of computing equipment and over 100 engineers and technicians to support the event. Acer will be providing the Olympic games with Acer Veriton 1000 and TravelMate 6592 notebooks.

The special edition notebooks and the LCD have the same specs as their standard models. The only difference is the Olympic rings adorning the lid and palm rest area of the notebooks.
