McDonald's To Offer Free WiFi

Buy McDonald\\\\\\'s from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Free public WiFi...is there any three word combination in the English language more beautiful than that? The Wall Street Journal (via Fudzilla) just reported that, starting in mid-January 2010, McDonald's will start offering their WiFi for free. Currently customers have to pay $2.95 for 2 hours of Internet. This AT&T provided WiFi will be available in approximately 11,000 of its 14,000 McDonald's locations in the US. Why the other three thousand are still charging is anyone's guess. As much as I despise McDonald's food, it's nice to have one more option for a place to work on those unfortunate occasions when my house loses power. Mickey D's may be slowly killing millions of my countrymen, but free WiFi is always good for some kudos from me.
