Belgium based Holocube updates its cool Holocube 3D projection box with the new Holocube HC15S. We first reported about the Holocube in 2008. The Holocube projects an animated 3D image inside of it's housing. You can view the 3D scenery only from the front of the box.
The positioning of the optics in the new Holocube HC15S makes it possible to place real objects in the cube and let them interact with the holograms.
The Holocube is a cool way to display products in shops or at trade-shows. It is not yet the Star Trek Holodeck, but it is definitely an eye catcher.
You can watch a video of the new Holocube in action on the Holocube site.
